Yep, Virenque was part of the Festina Affair and he was a big doper.
He even attempted a Pharmstrong denial and made the mistake of claiming to dope without his knowledge. LOL ! But eventually manned up and confessed.
I think this must’ve been one of the first live broadcasts of a stage of the Tour by SBS? Armstrong’s climbing speed on this stage was just insane.
